  • POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the Senior Accountant is focused on accounting functions within the ETS Corporate Accounting Department. Primary responsibilities include compilation of data related to journal entry processing, reconciliations and analysis that support creation of ETS financial statements and management reports. The Senior Accountant also supports and participates in financial statement and government audits. This position requires collaboration with others within and outside of the Finance organization.

  • Responsible for timely input in producing the monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for review by upper-level management. Prepare additional reports as required, quarterly and at year-end.
  • Perform complex reconciliations of various general ledger accounts. Investigate and resolve reconciling items, working with the appropriate ETS personnel.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries as required.
  • Document and maintain accounting procedures related to areas of responsibility.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to financial systems and collaborate with Information Technology staff to effect necessary changes through automation.
  • Prepare balance sheet fluctuation analyses.
  • Provide financial information and supporting documentation as requested.
  • Assist client, ETS and government auditors by preparing analytical schedules and responding to their inquiries.

Required Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CA preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as an accountant
