Job Summary:
As an Admissions Counsellor at The Study Anchor, you will play a critical role in shaping the
future of our company by helping students to understand different career options, making a
clear roadmap for entrance exams and, helping them join our institution. You will be
responsible for generating leads, guiding prospective students and their families through the
admissions process, providing relevant support, and creating a positive experience. This
position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for education, the
ambition to hone skills in sales, and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic
goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students/parents and provide
accurate and timely information about the institution and its programs.
Conduct in-person and virtual counselling sessions, career counselling seminars, and
other outreach activities to engage with prospective students.
View and evaluate student applications and other relevant documents for college
admission processes to assess eligibility for admissions based on individual career
paths.
Generate leads in the pipeline through active telesales activities and other lead
generating events.
Provide individualized academic and career counselling to prospective students,
helping them to make informed decisions about their educational goals.
Address questions, concerns, and issues related to the admission process, financial aid,
and scholarship opportunities.
Collaborate with the admissions team to develop and execute strategies for attracting a
diverse, and dedicated pool of students.
Contribute to the planning and execution of career fairs, events, etc.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective students and their interactions.
Understand trends through the data collected and recommend marketing and sales
strategies for each specific course.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the same industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build rapport with students and their families.
Knowledge of admissions processes, various careers, and scholarship opportunities.
Enthusiasm for working with students and helping them achieve their academic goals.
Past experience of preparing for an entrance exam is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic software skills.

The compensation package for this position at The Study Anchor includes:
Annual Salary: As per industry standards
Bonus: Guaranteed performance-based bonuses, to be discussed during the interview.
