The company holds 18+ patents for its proprietary technology and EV components, and is leading the adoption of electric motorcycles in India.


Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our production process, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. You will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for 2-wheeler electric vehicles from prototype to production stage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Design and optimize assembly lines, workstations, and equipment layouts for efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance production throughput.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing processes.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through process optimization and material efficiency.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production issues.
  • Provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting manufacturing problems and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electric vehicle manufacturing.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly line design, and production optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, and AutoCAD) for layout design and process simulations.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Hands-on experience with electric vehicle components, systems, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive project initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications in manufacturing or project management (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
