What will you do at Tejas?

Product Engineering team owns:

  • Platform and software validation for the entire product portfolio
  • Product and Technology demos at customer premises across the world
  • Develop and deliver customer documentation and training solutions
  • Compliance with technical certifications like TL9000, TSEC etc.

Team works closely with PLM, HW and SW architects, sales and customer account teams to innovate and develop network deployment strategy for a broad spectrum of networking products and software solutions. As part of this team, you will get an opportunity to validate, demonstrate and influence new technologies to shape future optical, routing, fiber broadband and wireless networks.


As a Product Trainer, you are responsible for:


Responsibilities :

  • Responsible to handle a team of trainers on networking and wireless domains.
  • Coordinate with sales, pre-sales on training requests, and manage end-to-end trainings.
  • Responsible for building deep product knowledge, and providing technical training for entire networking portfolio.
  • Responsible for providing training to internal and external international customers for classroom and online training programs. Travel will be required.
  • Collaborate with documentation and video team to develop training content, including workbooks, presentations, and videos in area of expertise.
  • Gather feedbacks for the trainings, incorporate them in future sessions.
  • Analyze product changes to develop a change management training strategy.
  • Travel to customer locations to deliver the product trainings.


Experience / Skill Required:

  • Exp - 3 to 12 yrss
  • Hands-on experience in delivering product training to customers or clients on IP MPLS technologies (min 3 years of experience req).
  • Create setup in lab as per customer deployment scenarios and perform testing
  • Ability to work with R&D, learn, and create training materials on networking or Wireless domains.
  • Installing and configuring experience on any of the networking platforms.
  • Knowledge of Layer 1, Layer2, and Layer 3 protocols is preferable. Ability to continuously upgrade to next-gen technologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail and customer-first attitude.
