Summary of Role

Role: SDE-3 (Lead DevOps Engineer)


Job Responsibilities:

  • Takes initiative to implement DevOps best practices.
  • Improve the Cost Efficiency and Observability of Cloud Infrastructure, and make them part of the Design Philosophy.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand and contribute into the roadmap and become the enabler.
  • Deep knowledge of the working of applications/services/containers of the systems as well as contributing to their overall design.
  • Work across teams to build reliability and scalability into the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment of services hosted in AWS and K8S.
  • Automation mindset with a focus to build self-serve platforms.
  • Responsible for production and non-prod environments and their Improvements.
  • Simplification and optimisation of Site reliability Engineering and enabling them for better SLAs.


Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Strong fundamentals of Linux, Microservices and AWS services
  • Exposure of Cost Efficiency, Reporting and Observability related projects.
  • Scripting using Python/GoLang
  • Thorough knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket), Docker, K8s
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Thorough knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana or other TSDB etc.
  • Has been participated in managing the multiple Infra-centric Projects, using Jira/Asana.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Open to learn and explore new tools and technologies.
  • 7+ years of experience
