Job Description for Software Delivery Manager


Require Software Delivery Manager for overseeing entire software development process from planning and execution to delivery and maintenance. The delivery manager is responsible for leading and managing software development projects from initiation to completion facilitating effective collaboration across multiple teams, resource utilization and ensuring successful project outcomes.


Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or Engineering from reputed universities.

15+ years of strong experience in SDLC management with a proven track record of successful product/project deliveries to International Markets/Clients.

Proficient in design and development of enterprise software applications in Java or Python using latest frameworks, tools and methodologies.

Work closely with all stakeholders to understand project requirements and priorities.

Develop Project Plans outlining the scope, schedules, resources and deliverables.

Build, Lead and Develop a strong team of software developers, testers and other relevant roles.

Foster collaboration, innovation and effectively utilize the resources to deliver high quality products and services on time and within budgets, following best practices and quality standards.

Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate; handle unexpected issues.

Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency within the software development lifecycle.

Communicate regularly and proactively with stakeholders including project sponsors, clients and team members.

Document project requirements, designs and changes.

Provide updates on project progress, milestones and any other issues that impact delivery.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
