Plus, their dedication to patient engagement support ensures a seamless experience for all.Job DescriptionResponsibilities of the Vice President - Operations Management (RCM) : Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality and efficient billing and RCM service delivery.Monitoring and reporting on key billing and RCM service delivery metrics, such as collections and denial rates.Participating in financial planning and forecasting activities to ensure that the revenue cycle management strategy is aligned with the overall financial goals of the organizationRevenues - Increase in revenue from existing business; new business and revenue numbers vis-à-vis budgeted numbersDeveloping and implementing strategies to reduce costs related to revenue cycle management, such as streamlining processes or implementing technology solutions.Developing and implementing strategies to optimize the delivery of billing and RCM services, including staffing, training, and workflow management.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to billing and RCM services.Managing the billing and RCM operations team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.Analyzing billing and RCM data and identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency and decrease costs.Collaborating with other departments, such as finance, sales, and IT, to ensure successful delivery of medical billing and RCM services to clients.Communicating with clients to resolve service delivery issues and to promote client satisfaction.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate for Vice President - Operations Management (RCM) must have:Experience: At least 20 plus years of experience in client services, customer service, or operations management, preferably in the healthcare industry.In-depth knowledge of billing processes and regulations: Should have a deep understanding of billing processes and regulatory requirements, including coding, billing, and reimbursement rules.Strong leadership and management skills: Will need to manage a team of revenue cycle professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, and developing a high-performing team.Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve revenue cycle performance, manage costs, and increase revenue.Communication and collaboration skills: Should be able to work with other departments and stakeholders, such as finance, clinical operations, and IT, to ensure that the revenue cycle management strategy is aligned with the overall goals of the organization.Technical skills: Should be familiar with billing software and other related technologies (Medical and Nursing)Customer service skills: Strong customer service skills to manage relationships with clients, including communicating with them to resolve service delivery issues and promote client satisfaction.Attention to detail: Should be detail-oriented and able to manage complex billing processes accurately and efficiently.Adaptability and flexibility: Should be able to adapt to changes in regulations, technologies, and industry trends and adjust the revenue cycle management strategy accordingly.Thought Leadership: Should be able to share innovative and insightful ideas that challenge conventional thinking and drive progress.
