We are currently looking for an experienced Analytical Research associate to work in the field of industrial enzyme development & characterization at Xenesis, Absolute.

In this role you will:

• Performing the enzyme assay of the liquid and powdered enzymes.

• High throughput screening of the enzymes.

• New enzyme assay development.

• Physico-chemical characterization of enzymes like determining the optimal conditions for the enzymes, stability of the enzymes & storage stability studies.

• Enzyme application development for food & animal feed industries.

• Downstream processing of microbial enzyme production.

• Enzyme formulation & product development.

• Documentation and report writing.

• Prepare and execute established methods and SOPs.

• Deliver high-quality results in a timely manner and communicate the same with stakeholders

• Drive process improvements.

• Maintain all equipment, data and records as per specifications.

What we are looking for:

• MSc with minimum 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.

• Basic understanding of spectroscopy, biochemical techniques & enzymology.

• Protein/enzyme analysis via SDS-PAGE and spectrophotometric methods.

• Biochemical assays: Qualitative, quantitative and microplate plate screening assays.

• Basic Bioinformatics knowledge.

• Demonstrated ability to work with highly skilled teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and technical environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner.

• Comfortable delivering against challenging commitments.

• Confident, execution focused, team oriented, with an ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
