Job title: Senior Manager- People & Talent Location: India Reporting to: People Director About noon noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done. noon’s mission: Ring every doorbell, everyday. What you’ll do: As the Senior People Manager, you will play a strategic role in driving people matters, and supporting the growth and development of our teams. You will lead and manage all aspects of People operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR governance. You will partner closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align People initiatives with business objectives and foster a culture of high standards and innovation. Work with stakeholders to understand business and team needs. Support across all People Experience functions including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, and Employee Engagement. Lead, manage, and motivate the People team to achieve goals and set high standards. Drive the annual performance management processes to ensure appraisals and reviews are recorded to meet set standards. Run processes to assess and develop employees for talent management, succession planning and resource the teams for the future. Encourage and develop a culture of learning and growth. Be the point of escalation for employee relation-related matters, dealing with investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and any issues that impact performance. Drive key strategic projects such as Employer Branding & University Partnerships to position noon as an employer of choice across India. Responsible for managing and maintaining budgets. Conduct competitor analysis projects to ensure we consistently stay up to date and strengthen noon’s employee value proposition Support eNPS projects. Gather feedback from all areas of the organization, and analyze data to make informed decisions. Serve as an advisor to key stakeholders and present People Data to drive plans to improve on culture-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to strengthen our values and behaviors and achieve our broader business objectives. Work closely with key stakeholders to provide guidance and support on organizational changes, restructuring, and other business initiatives. Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs. Create a positive workplace culture by steering employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention strategies. Work with the management teams to maintain a consistent focus on people and performance with communications and team activities. Develop initiatives and events to recognize, reward and celebrate high-performance. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field At least 10 years experience in HR. Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations. Dealt with Labor offices and other related authorities to comply with regulations. Proven experience across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, etc. Strong communicator to influence and guide others on People related matters at all levels Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Strategic mindset, with the ability to align People initiatives with business objectives and drive organizational change. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
