The Senior Software Engineer, SAP Finance GL should have experience delivering full lifecycle projects in SAP S/4HANA in the areas of Finance including integration with other areas such as Order to Cash, Supply Chain. This person delivers work in the areas of SAP General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Business Consolidation system. Has a good understanding of working in a SOX and GxP environment. Key Responsibilities: Providing solutions in SAP Finance area by using the SAP S/4HANA application as well as related bolt-on, related tools and integrations tools. Part of the team that produces the deliverables as specified by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support the Finance requirements globally. Accountable for delivery of projects on time and on budget, adhering to high-quality development principles Absorb new ideas and drive continuous improvement for operations and design of processes. Build strong inter-personal relationships with peers, IT Business partners, Business, and other key stakeholders to help with the smooth implementation of new applications/capabilities and technologies. Manage stakeholder communications for projects. Develops self and others through training and project work assignments. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience. At least 5 to 7 years of experience implementing projects in SAP Finance General Ledger and Asset Accounting with two full cycle SAP implementations. Experience in other areas such as Accounts Receivables and Payables, Project Accounting, Business consolidation is a plus. Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus. Strong understanding of Finance business processes and Finance master data Knowledge of integration of SAP Finance to related SAP areas such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management, Intercompany Operations (ICO), Production Planning (PP) and Business Warehouse Able to effectively translate business requirements to a solution using the SAP S/4HANA ERP system, bolt-ons to S/4HANA, and related tools. Experience implementing SAP interfaces in an FDA and GxP regulated environment. Able to deal with ambiguity in problem definition and organizational relationships. Experience working in a matrix organization. Able to manage work across virtual teams. Able to influence Sr Manager and Associate Director level with oral and written presentations.
