Project Manager

I. Hiring specifications

Job Purpose: The role will be responsible to successfully manage projects from application development (pre-sales) through post-installation support for defence robots department.

Role Expectations:

• project planning and execution from beginning to end.
• project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• project tasks. Develop, track and maintain associated project documents. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all engineering documentation and specifications required for the successful implementation of the projects and to meet the documentation needs of the customer as agreed to in the order acceptance. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• and assesses unique business/commercial/technical risks associated with assigned projects and provide mitigation solution/s and workarounds.
• necessary manpower and resources required for each project; coordinate with the concerned department on requirements
• with internal project stakeholders, key vendors and customers on an ongoing basis.
• customer order with original quotation to determine variances and ensures that necessary contractual revisions are made before acceptance of order.
• order reviews, transfer report analysis, monthly status reports, manpower loading reports and close-out notices.
• mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

• will report into Head of Operations & Delivery

• Stakeholders: HODs and Managers across functions in Mobile robots department
• Stakeholders: Customers/Clients

II. PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS

Profile: Ideally ~

• of any Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science.
• more than 6 years work experience, including more than two year of experience in Project Management with area and level of expertise in the automation/robotics fields.

Requisites:

• Certified
• development projects experience for Auto OEM
• and analyzing customer requirement matrix and feasibility
• to Embedded systems, Software application development process
• to product design and validation processes(ISO26262 exposure)
• documentation skills; accustomed to preparing / analyzing project specifications, visual presentations, and financial records
• with interaction with customer and responsible for Key account manager.

Competencies:

• in all Microsoft Windows applications including Microsoft Project.
• accreditation: Training in Project management methodologies
