Brief Job Overview

Network Administrator IT is a key position with responsibilities to manage all administrative tasks which includes configuration, monitoring the India IT network and troubleshooting all the network related issues; assist in maintaining the audio-video equipment in meeting rooms, conference rooms, training room, Unified call managers and new project implementations. This role will be responsible to provide hands and feet support to 3 USP locations within Hyderabad, coordinating very closely with stakeholders across USP departments and hierarchy.

How will YOU create impact here at USP?

  • Manage and own the network infrastructure.

  • Taking the complete responsibility of ServiceNow tickets regarding Network, Security, Collaboration and resolve the issues within agreed SLA’s.

  • Configure, Install, and troubleshoot Switches, Routers, Firewalls, WLC, DNA and other network devices.

  • Troubleshooting the VLan, interface ports and internet issues, CB and Zscaler issues on the end user computing devices.

  • Co-ordinate with AMC vendor for quarterly maintenance with Network devices along with AV infrastructure if necessary

  • Raising a TAC ticket with AMC vendor /Cisco to replace a faulty device under RMA as per our contracted support.

  • Managing and Troubleshooting the CUCM servers and PRI lines across the India USP sites

  • Responsible for IOS and Software upgrades with the network and collaboration infrastructure

  • Responsible for managing the Wireless infrastructure across the India USP sites.

  • Own the responsibility and coordinate in new projects implementation, configuration, and installation (MAC – Move, Add and Configure)

  • Monitoring the Network using PRTG, Logic monitor monitoring tools for network availability, bandwidth utilization, throughput, and latency issues.

  • Providing extended support and troubleshooting the issues with WebEx and MS Teams for the Users

  • Daily Network operations status reporting.

  • Generate the monthly reports pertaining to bandwidth and save it to network drives for audit purpose.

  • Managing and taking associated backups of Network Devices, ISE, CUCM, Wireless etc

  • Prepare the meeting rooms ready for Town Hall or other meetings and ensure smooth operations of AV Infrastructure configurations and effective coordination’s.

  • Documentation of IT Infrastructure including Change & Incident Management System and knowledge-based troubleshooting steps.

  • Build and maintain technical diagrams and asset inventory for Network, Audio & Video equipment’s.

  • Asset labelling for Switches, Routers, AV equipment and other network devices

  • Protects organization's value by keeping data and information integrity.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Verify and Maintain HUB rooms hygiene with proper dressing and labelling at different USP Sites.

  • Coordinate with vendors for new service tickets, service issues, new implementations, updates, upgrades and other ad-hoc requirements as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field with 7-8 years of professional experience in IT networking.

  • Experience in managing complex network across multiple locations.

  • Experience in managing Cisco network devices (Firewalls, Routers, POE Switches, Core Switches, WLCs, VTC devices etc.).

  • Experience in IT service Management practice

  • Experience in managing SDWAN networks.

  • Knowledge and understanding of CUCM infrastructure and PRI lines.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of ITSM tools – primarily ServiceNow.

  • Good communication skills – should be able to converse with US stakeholders.
