Project Architect

Experience: 3-6 years Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Project Architect to join our team at Morphemy Architects. As a Project Architect at our firm, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the design and documentation of projects from concept to construction. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other design professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities : Lead the design process for assigned projects, including developing and presenting design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with other design professionals as needed Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and develop design solutions that meet the needs and goals of clients Work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop design solutions that meet their vision and budget Collaborate with contractors and other design professionals to ensure that construction is executed in accordance with the design documents and project specifications Manage project schedules and budgets, and coordinate with the project team to ensure that deadlines are met, and projects stay on track Oversee the work of junior architects and designers, providing guidance and direction as needed Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, presentations, and client meetings Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture 3-6 years of experience in an architecture or design firm, with experience leading projects Strong design skills and the ability to develop and communicate design concepts through sketches, drawings, and presentations Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, etc.) Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills Professional licensure or pursuit of licensure is a plus We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome diversity in the workplace.
