Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery schedules and ensure projects are delivered on time while meeting quality standards
- Provide delivery management & leadership on the design & end to end solutions for building Generative AI applications on cloud and on premise platforms.
- Ensure adherence of best practices to all solution architecture, design areas, including on-prem, AWS, or a combination. This includes areas such as Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization
- Lead delivery workforce of 15-30+ cross functional engineers, to support solution development and applications.
- Enable the expansion of the GenAI- Center of Excellence, through education support, publication of solution accelerators, and open discussions on data challenges and opportunities.
- Translate detailed requirements into functional specifications.
- Maintain documentation for processes, standards and knowledge sharing
- Provide high level estimates for project proposals and solution designs.
- Integrate with project teams according to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology for either waterfall or agile projects.
- Conduct Proof of Technologies on the new Gen AI technologies on on-cloud and traditional data management, engineering, visualizations & analytics technologies to recommend the choice of technology for adoption at an enterprise level.
- Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to approve data patterns, technologies and seek architecture approvals.
- Strong hands-on experience in delivering enterprise solution with proven business value
- Build and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, or personnel.
Key Experience:
- 12+ years of build/design experience related to applications design, building architecture and leading end to end implementations, preferably 6+ years in a financial services company especially insurance.
- 5-7+ years’ experience in development, 3 of which in the capacity of Development and/or Delivery Manager
- Working with AI/ML teams preferred
- Experience in delivering projects in cloud using AWS technologies like Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3, Kendra and open source technologies like Python and Java.
- Excellent reporting and stakeholder communications and must have managed reporting at leadership level to senior stakeholders
- Extremely strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills. This includes skills such as conceptual requirements interpretation, solution creation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, a proven ability to adapt to challenges, and a strong interest in coaching and mentoring colleagues.
- Experience with productionizing services at scale and related change management.
- Strong experience in leading DevOps enablement and adoption programs across 2-3 projects across on premise and on cloud data technologies
