Executive – Language Expert

Functional Area: Cognitive Assessments Design & Delivery

Educational Qualification: Graduate / post-graduate

Experience: 2-3 years – preferably having experience in assessment designing, content creation (MCQs, case-based questions, etc.), e-learning background, and project management.

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Quality Control – The most critical aspect of the work is taking ownership of thorough quality checks and proofreading of content. Reviewing and assessing the quality of content related to assessments design and delivery to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Content Management – Taking ownership of content creation through SMEs, reviewing content for quality parameters, logical correctness, and upload while coordinating with the operations team and maintaining the content inventory for future reference.
  • SME (Subject Matter Expert) Management – Finding new SMEs through different SME portals and getting them on-boarded for content creation/review of cognitive assessment requirements. Managing the SMEs for content-related work, invoicing, timelines, etc. while ensuring a wonderful experience with partners and ensuring the quality of deliverables from SMEs.
  • Coordination with internal teams – Providing general support as needed within and across different departments. Reaching out and coordinating with different teams within Mercer Mettl for content, product, technology, and operations-related work for the smooth execution of projects.
  • Research and development – Exploring and identifying areas of development for content creation/review or management processes. Monitoring the market trends for the development of new tools/skills and introducing the same in Mercer Mettl inventory.

What does a day in the role look like:

  • Reviewing and ensuring premium quality of content used for assessment design and delivery.
  • Ensuring the language of the content is grammatically correct. Reviewing and updating the content to maintain accuracy and consistency while adhering to guidelines.
  • Collaborating with team members to understand additional content creation/review-related requirements and planning for the same.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to explain the requirements and coordinating with them to ensure timely delivery of content as per the guidelines.
  • Ensuring the ongoing projects are on track and making real-time adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
