Job Position: Senior Fashion Designer

Location: Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon

About the role:

As a Senior Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire design process, from concept to finished product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage junior designers, and ensure the creative vision aligns with the brand's identity and market trends.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Creating monthly Western wear, Fusion wear, or Indo-Western collections by brainstorming and crafting new ideas.
  • Crafting Mood Boards, Color Boards, Illustrations, and Storyboards as part of the design process.
  • Overseeing the creation of technical packs, print development, and the sampling process.
  • Continuously researching and staying updated on fashion trends to make accurate forecasts.
  • Managing vendor relationships and collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Identifying key items that drive profits at the beginning of each season.
  • Leading the design team to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Ability to take the lead, and deliver independently, with strong experience in product development, fittings, silhouettes, and pattern making.
  • Demonstrating an exceptional sense of aesthetics.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's diploma/degree in Fashion Design preferably from NIFT and Pearl Academy.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience with team management experience and independently managing product design for a range of Western Wear, Fusion wear, or Indo-Western brands/sub-categories
  • Prior experience in e-commerce and/or with independent retailers on their private label businesses and/or with leading Indian brands.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to details
  • Excellent knowledge of fashion trends, textiles, and garment construction.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in design software and technical drawing.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity.
