Senior Embedded Engineer (C, BIOS, UEFI) - 5 to 8 years

What You'll Do:

• The design, development, debugging and testing of BIOS software for Cisco UCS servers.
• Participate in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing.
• Collaborate with business and technical team members to clearly understand business objectives, customer needs, and product requirements.
• Responsible for the ownership of BIOS modules.
• Participate in the industry specifications, vendor's hardware documentation, then implement supporting BIOS into existing code bases Implement silicon support in our platform.
• Integrate silicon vendor's reference code.
• Ownership of platform BIOS through the platform lifecycle from bring up through sustenance.

Who You Are

An Embedded Engineer with 5+ years of experience in below technologies:

• Good C programming exposure with BIOS/UEFI background.
• Participation in code review, code analysis, requirements analysis, risk analysis, code profiling and tuning.
• Experience with Debug BIOS, OS, hardware, and driver issues
• Experience with AMI Aptio BIOS.
• Experience inServer and Storage Domains
• Knowledge ofPC hardware and operating systems.
• Knowledge Industry specs like ACPI/PCIE/SCSI/SAS/I2C/IPMI/SMBIOS etc.’

Optional Skills:

• Understanding of Networking.
• Remote manageability knowledge.
