Crum & Forster Services India (CFSI) is an India subsidiary of Crum & Forster Inc. The objective is to provide digital and IT services to C&F business units by creating autonomous squads focused on a specific product or a business team.


Position:


We are seeking a coach and guide for software business analysis and testing process ensuring effective Process adherence, Build Testing artifacts. Establishes quality products and processes by enforcing and auditing BA and QA standards and practices for the BA and QA team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coaching Manual for QA and BA
  • Mentor QA and BA team on requirement documentation (BA), test case preparation, test case execution, overall BA and QA process, test execution walkthrough, defect tracking and closure
  • Audit and evaluate each BA and QA resource on their BA and QA tasks on both quality and quantity (work output)
  • Provide monthly or quarterly evaluation reports to Director of testing practice for each individual in the BA and QA team that also includes their strength and areas to improve
  • Come up with templates if required for BA and QA tasks including requirement gathering, use cases, acceptance criteria, test case creation, bug, test execution report, status reports, presentation/walkthrough reports etc.
  • Review and assist Director of testing practice in implementing and fine-tuning software testing strategies.
  • Assist in implementing smart testing practices.
  • Mentor software testing resources (Train, establish process, Review artifacts, allocate and monitor) • Review business / software requirements and provide inputs. On Test case creation/Scenario identification
  • Apply appropriate test measurements & metrics for different product testing teams.
  • Establish/Create/Involve – Test case review process
  • Provide feedback on Test case/initiate process for effective Test case creation/Test Execution
  • Tactical in working with Technical Analyst team in assessing the Work effort and provide guidance in optimizing the Test creation/Execution approach.
  • Analyse test results and test metrics.
  • Involve In End-to-End Test Planning & Execution with emphasis on Improvement
  • Work with team to Prepare / review / present test reports, Audit and give feedback on the process.
  • Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc.) on the process optimization and improvement.
  • Identify and project Quality Metrics and conduct Audits regularly for improvements.
  • Act as a mentor & coach for Technical Analyst /Business Analyst community practice

  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Working as a Coach/Mentor • Has knowledge on Testing Practice
  • Understand different process & Tools in Testing
  • Knowledge Testing Process & Tools
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Coordination and leadership skills
  • Team Monitoring and mentoring.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or another related field or Equivalent
