Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

About the Role:Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plansDesign, develop, and execute test automation for functional and non-functional test scenariosContribute to the development and maintenance of test automation infrastructure and reporting toolsReview requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackEstimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activitiesIdentify, record, thoroughly document, and track defectsPerform thorough regression testing when defects are resolvedDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing productsReproduces, debugs, and isolates problems and verify fixes.Liaise with internal teams (. developers and product managers) to identify system requirementsMonitor system health and use logging to debug issuesInvestigate the causes of non-conforming software and become an advocate for the customer in ensuring top tier qualityTrack quality assurance metrics to help make data driven quality related decisionsStay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies About You: A minimum of 5+ years of SDET experience (or development experience) 4+ years of experience with automation frameworks testing using python Hands-on experience using version control systems such as Git and a solid understanding of Git workflows. Solid operating system internals, system knowledge and commandsGood experience with File system and Networking. Hands-on experience with application setups and testing. Hands-on experience with scripting on Python, Shell and bashHands-on experience with tools developmentExperience with tools like wireshark, process monitor, memory analyzers. Ability to analyze system resourcesGood analytical skills with ability to analyse issues through system and product logs Knowledge of QA methodologies including functional, performance, regression, black-box, and white-box testing. Hands-on experience working with continuous integration tools. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MongoDB, SQL or PostgreSQL. Strong knowledge of QA methodology and testing tools. Avid Learner: Passion for continuous learning and able to effectively communicate technology-oriented concepts.
