Retail Sales Executive – Roles & Responsibilities

·      Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.

·      Providing accurate information regarding product features, pricing and after-sales services

·      Answering customers’ questions about specific products/services

·      Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing

·      Cross-sell products

·      Ensure racks are fully stocked

·      Manage returns of merchandise

·      Coordinate with the Retail Sales team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)

·      Inform customers about discounts and special offers

·      Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

·      Stay up-to-date with new products/services

·      Work on Monthly targets & ensure to achieve it

·      Serves customers by helping them select products.

·      Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.

·      Provides outstanding customer service.

·      Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.

·      Manages financial transactions.

·      Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing cheques, cash or other credit and debit cards.

·      Alerts management of potential security issues.

·      Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.

·      Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.


Required Skills for the Role:

·      Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role

·      Great Listening Skills & High energy levels

·      Understanding of the retail sales process

·      Familiarity with consumer behaviour principles

·      Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures

·      Basic math skills

·      Track record of achieving sales quotas

·      Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships

·      Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

·      Flexibility & Adaptability

·      High school degree

·      BSc in Marketing or related field is a plus
