Product Manager-Consumer Finance (NBFC)

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision for Mobile Financing, BNPL and personal loans.

· Develop and articulate a clear product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.

· Define the vision for lending products, considering market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.

  • Product Development:

· Lead end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch, ensuring high-quality, user-centric products.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data science, to deliver innovative lending solutions.

  • Market Analysis:

· Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

· Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the lending space in India.

  • Financial Management:

· Take ownership of the lending product portfolio's P&L, driving revenue growth and managing costs effectively.

· Implement pricing strategies and financial models to maximize profitability.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

· Work closely with business teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing market success.

· Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the product team and across the organization.

  • Risk Management:

· Develop and implement risk management strategies for lending products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Proactively identify and address potential risks to protect the company's interests and reputation.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in product management, with a focus on lending products. Total Work experience of 7-10 years.

· Deep understanding of the Indian lending market, including regulatory landscape and customer behaviors.

· Strong business acumen with a track record of P&L ownership and driving financial performance.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

· Demonstrated success in bringing innovative financial products to market.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
