Business Analyst (Salesforce Admin)

The role is responsible for providing support to the Business Intelligence & Analytics team within Columbia Threadneedle Investments, an asset management group of Ameriprise Financial. This individual will be responsible for end-user support, maintenance and updates to the platform. They will work collaboratively with business users to understand issues, then drive the technical solutions that are aligned with the business strategies and the organization's architectural standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support of US-based salesforce.com end-user queries via email, telephone and Teams end user requests Guiding team on all basic administrative functions including: User setup and maintenance; Report and Dashboard creation and maintenance using Salesforce; Account and Contact management using data best-practices; Maintaining custom object and junction object configuration and dataHands-on experience in automating business processes using Flows. Troubleshoot issues related to Flows and other automations, escalating findings with comprehensive details to technical teamRegular and ad hoc Salesforce CRM data updates, test and deploy effective data driven tools for business processes including working knowledge of inventory of relevant data sources and 3rd party vendor dataExplore opportunities to drive efficiency in operations by automating reports/processes, simplification/ elimination of redundant activities Design infrastructure to support new processes or programs. Create and maintain process documentation including data definitions and sourcesCollaborate with other teams to build scalable outputs to analyze and interpret business needsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance/Engineering or any related fields and/or MBA1 – 3 years of relevant experience in Salesforce Administrator role for a global financial services firmSalesforce Administrator CertificationPrevious use and experience with custom objects and junction objects. Experience with Data LoaderExceptional communication skills (needs to effectively work and stay in touch with global colleagues across different business units)Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to manage and interpret large amounts of dataExcellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExcellent organizational and project management skills to track and manage multiple deliverables with various process steps and deadlinesTeam player and collaborative, but can also work autonomously, both with a critical focus on ensuring consistent delivery Preferred QualificationsAsset management experience preferredAbout Our CompanyAmeriprise India LLP has been providing client based financial solutions to help clients plan and achieve their financial objectives for 125 years.
