Security Administrator

We are looking for a Security Administration Engineer professional. This position includes security platform stability and health, system capacity monitoring, diagnosing and resolving security platform issues in partnership with the respective stakeholders within Black Box and customer organization and 3rd Party Providers. Essential Responsibilities: Knowledge of SIEM technologies and security tooling Maintaining SIEM platform stability and health and providing regular and clear communication to the MTD team and relevant stakeholders Monitoring system capacity to ensure that the platform does not encounter resource issues Diagnosing and resolving incidents related to the platform Resolving any platform issues that may occur within SLA and ensuring that service impact is minimal Assessing the impact of all changes that come through about the platform Identifying proactive measures to improve performance wherever it is cost justifiable Responsible for enabling new SIEM alarms from inception through to tuning Regularly checking that alarms within the SIEM platform are working through regular testing Proactively and reactively turning alarms and log sources for all clients on the platform On-boarding new clients from deployment to ‘business as usual.’ Overseeing upgrades and changes on the SIEM platform Admin Engineer should be well versed with building connectors and writing parsers Engineer should understand various Data sources components and their relevant events and should know about integrating and onboarding data sources Experience Requirements: Hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel, Securonix Current understanding of Industry trends and emerging threats. Experience delivering reporting and SLA management Linux administration experience Web server platform experience Network management experience Cloud infrastructure experience Strong understanding of security capability A strong record of interfacing with customers and providing high-quality service outputs
