Education: Master Mariner
Relevant Experience : At least 18 months command experience on board Dry bulk vessels (preferable foreign going) and 2-4 years of Shore based experience.
Job Description
1. Liaise with brokers / charterers, chartering team and Master for the voyage planning and execution
2. Pre-loading
- Send the Stowage plan to charterers and seek approval
- Monitor appointment of agent and payment of PDA
- Plan and monitor cargo operations and documentation
3. Loading (Voyage Charter)
- Monitor loading operation in line with voyage orders
- Monitor and follow up vessel’s commercial documentation
4. Voyage (Voyage Charter)
- Monitor speed and fuel consumption of voyage charter and time chartered vessels
- Monitor carriage of cargo as per C/P requirements and ensure Safe Navigation of the ships
5. Cargo Discharging (Voyage Charter)
- Liaise with brokers / charterers for the safe discharge orders
- Monitor appointment of agent and payment of PDA and requisite documentation
6. Bunkering
- Plan and monitor bunker requirement for the voyage and give input to chartering department and bunker cell.
