Professor in Pharmacy (min. 10-15 years of relevant experience)

SGT University is in search of talented Faculty Members with good research orientation for its campus. Job Description We are looking for well-organized Professor to join our Faculty of Pharmacy in the department of Pharmacy Chemistry. The Professor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching a requisite number of graduate & post graduate classes, assisting with the development of course material, supervising postgraduate students, regularly publishing journal articles, serving on committees, attending conferences, writing proposals for grants, delivering presentations, and handling other administrative duties. To be successful as a professor, you should be able to balance teaching and research responsibilities. Outstanding professors are able to conduct independent research, accurately allocate resources, and provide subject-related and management advice to the faculty. Skill-set required High quality teaching, faculty research, and creative and professional activities. - Adding to academic planning and innovative curricular and scholarly development. -Involving in research grants, expanded advancement effort, and public/private partnerships. - Enhancing the Faculty profile, resource streams, and engagement with alumni and the community. - Supporting the University's commitment to diversity and fostering, academic, and non-academic activities to increase the visibility and to enhance University's efforts in the community. Experience: An earned Doctorate; a record of academic achievement in the discipline meriting appointment as a tenured full Assistant/Associate/Professor in the University in department of Pharmacy Practice; University teaching experience complemented by a superior research and scholarly record; a record of proven leadership and administrative experience related to the work or related multidisciplinary programs; understanding of the instructional, research, and creative needs of undergraduate and graduate programs. Minimum of 15 years & above of total work experience, out of which at least 2-3 years in similar capacity. Candidates with good research track record in ABDC/ SCOPUS/ WOS/SCI will be preferred, and with at least 15 research papers & publications.
