Job Description Position Summary: The Income Tax Leader at NIQ leads our Income Tax team within Global Finance Operations. This strategic leadership role involves overseeing the end-to-end income tax compliance process, supporting the global US GAAP consolidated income tax provision process, and supporting the global transfer pricing documentation process. As the Income Tax Leader, you will ensure that all income tax activities are executed with high standards of efficiency and effectiveness, in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining clear service level agreements with various internal stakeholders. This role reports directly into Finance Operations Leadership and will manage a team of approximately 10-15 associates, including Income Tax Analysts. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Development: Build, lead, and mentor a team of 10-15 income tax professionals, fostering an environment of professional growth and operational excellence. Tax Compliance Oversight: Oversee the complete income tax compliance process in conjunction with our third-party consultants, ensuring accurate and timely filing of income tax returns. Provision and Transfer Pricing Support: Provide strategic support for the global US GAAP consolidated income tax provision process the global transfer pricing documentation process. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations, maintaining compliance across all operations. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax operations. Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain robust service level agreements with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and accountability. Reporting and Analysis: Generate accurate reports for senior management, providing insights into tax operations and compliance. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (CPA, CA, CTA) in taxation is required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax compliance and management, with a strong focus on income taxation within a multinational corporation or consulting firm. Expert Knowledge of Income Taxation: In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, income tax compliance, transfer pricing, and other relevant tax regulations. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a tax team, with strong mentoring and development capabilities. Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial source systems (SAP, OneStream), income tax technology solutions (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision), and other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
