Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Maintenance: Execute and oversee the maintenance of material master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Classification Management: Classify materials accurately based on predefined criteria and maintain classification structures to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • BOM Management: Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and align with production requirements and specifications.
  • Routing Management: Manage routings, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and align with production requirements and specifications.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Perform regular checks on base of checklists to ensure data integrity, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies promptly.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the global team to ensure alignment and accuracy of master data across systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize master data management processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy improvements.



Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP Systems:
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (R/3 or S4-HANA) systems commonly used in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to navigate the system proficiently, perform data entry and extraction related to master data management transactions.
  • Understanding of Electronics Materials and Components:
  • Strong grasp of electronic materials, components, and their attributes.
  • Familiarity with various types of electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, connectors, etc., along with their specifications, part numbers, and technical characteristics.
  • Experience with Classification Systems and Management:
  • Proficiency in managing classification systems.
  • Understanding of classification hierarchies, attribute-based classification, and maintaining consistency across classifications to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Knowledge of BOM Structures and Routings:
  • In-depth knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings, particularly in the context of electronics manufacturing.
  • Understanding of BOM structures, multi-level BOMs, variant configurations, and routing operations related to electronic assembly processes.
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy:
  • Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry, maintenance, and validation.
  • Meticulous approach to data management to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inconsistencies promptly.
  • Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills:
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working closely with the global team.
  • Collaborate in projects, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
