What you will be doing at Evalueserve: • Drafting response to Office Action (for US applications) – Analyzing patent application and references cited in office action, determining differences between the patent application and cited references, formalizing strategies to respond on various objections/rejections (101, 102, 103, 112) in office action, amending claims and/or writing arguments to differentiate patent application from the cited references, reviewing office action responses prepared by other team members, and mentoring team members for drafting office action response • Patent Search - Understanding invention disclosures and conducting a prior-art search to identify key prior-arts and preparing the search reports Skills we’re looking for: with relevant US prosecution experience of 4+ years with PhD/ M.Tech/ B.Tech (Electronics and Communication, Signal Processing, Semiconductor Manufacturing/Fabrication, VLSI, Instrumentation) analytical skills with thorough understanding of the technology domain written and verbal communication (in English) with particular ability in creative and persuasive writing comprehension and presentation skills attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner interpersonal and active listening skills experience of drafting patent applications and/or office action responses and independent client management is preferred. knowledge of IP laws of various countries, various patent databases, technical domains with respect to educational background knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word Any certifications of additional courses or trainings (in Intellectual Property or otherwise) would be a plus Interested candidates please share your updated CV at nitya.dang@evalueserve.com Want to learn more about our culture and what it’s like to work with us?
