Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including account reconciliations, accrual schedules, and general journal entries, ensuring that reconciliations are performed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and/or regulatory rules, including implementation of any changes.
  • Responsible for annual external audit preparation and oversight.
  • Oversee and direct document system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Streamline, maintain, and improve processes (SOP) and related internal controls.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve, and document accounting decisions in addition to creating procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.
  • Provide thought leadership on financial implications and risks related to key decisions and issues.
  • Manage and oversee automation requirements and implementations in finance functions.
  • Work with the executive team to develop organizational charts, team, and culture.
  • Prepare annual audit committee presentation on the group financial statements.
  • Responsible for providing KPIs and financial metrics that can lead to actionable items.
  • Valuation of the Group on half yearly basis
  • ESOP valuation on quarterly basis
  • Supporting management in various restructuring projects on ongoing basis


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree
  • preferred)
  • CA, CMA or CFA Qualification is strongly preferred. (5-7 years of experience)
  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the manufacturing or edtech
  • Exceptional Accounting Management and Analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, indirect taxation,
  • Familiarity with SAP B1 Books is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving process improvement and delivering on financial objectives.
  • High level of integrity and ethics, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures
