Job Purpose Position plays a vital support role in ensuring India 's compensation practices align with business objectives and support efforts to attract, retain and motivate talent. Role will be responsible for providing assistance in effective management of compensation programs including designing, implementing and administering Rewards programs and policies that are fair, competitive, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Represent India in Rewards CoE and ensure alignment with the enterprise direction. Build collaboration between CoE and India HR practice for supporting the right reward strategy for employees. Provide effective support in the management of full spectrum of Rewards policies, practices and processes for India. Develop, review and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Primary Responsibilities Compensation & Benefits: Play a lead role in supporting effective execution of Rewards programs in India to drive a pay for performance philosophy. Consulting support to HR & Business managers on Rewards matters and ensure smooth execution. Ensure employees’ compensation & benefits are in compliance with the statutory requirements and labour laws. Gathering and analyzing compensation data from internal and external sources, including salary surveys, market research, and HRIS reports to benchmark the market’s compensation packages against industry standards and competitors. Analyze market reports to determine competitive positioning. Prepares compensation and benefits budget, including the regular monitoring & reporting. Help maintain accurate records of job descriptions, grades and salary ranges in the HRIS systems. Evaluate new and existing positions to determine appropriate job grades and salary levels. Support India Manufacturing compensation and benefits in alignment with statutory requirements. Evaluate Benefits practices & programs through research, surveys and analysis of benefit trends for India and other markets in the region. Maintain C&B related MIS for India and report as and when required. Assist with the implementation and communication of compensation policies and procedures to employees and managers. Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to compensation and benefits. Provide support in the ad-hoc survey submission for APAC markets. HR Policies & Programs: Collaborate with HR to develop and review HR policies and procedures that reflect the organization's values and comply with legal requirements. Provide guidance and support on interpreting and applying policies effectively in day-to-day operations. Conduct regular assessments to identify compliance gaps and to address them. Monitor the effectiveness of existing HR policies and recommend revisions that are cost-effective and consistent with the market practices and organizational goals. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND/OR RELATED EXPERIENCE Graduate/Postgraduate Human Resource Management 3-4 Yrs. of relevant experience Understanding of compensation principles, practices, and statutory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
