Director of Operations

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues). 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer relationships; be responsible for fulfilling customer needs in the early stages; negotiating and working with the business team to promote project implementation
• Leading the project team to review solutions and project promotion with clients; responsible for the management of the entire project cycle, including progress, cost, delivery time, on-site management, acceptance, personnel management, etc.
• Responsible for project risk control, from early evaluation to cost/delivery control in the project lifecycle (identify and highlight risk factors)
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills, maintaining effective communication with Headquarters' teams to ensure project delivery results
• Strong business mindset: able to effectively provide feedback on business and competitive intelligence; able to coordinate internal resources to jointly find new business growth points.
• Establish and communicate India plant overall KPI. Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Science degree or above in automation, mechanical manufacturing and design, or related
• Experience with machining projects strongly preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in project management related to non-standard automation industry, with at least 5 years' experience on project management in global top 5 consumer electronics customer products
• Language: Proficient with reading and writing in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proven history of having a high standard of execution, excellent organization and coordination abilities
• Result oriented, active personality who is used to high-pressure environments
• Ability to identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems. Able to utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, continuously striving to improve value. Possesses strong business acumen and proven ability to improve key financial results. Excellent communication skills and networking abilities. Effective interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate and influence for positive outcomes. 
• Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret complex documents; respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints; draft and deliver persuasive speeches/presentations on complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with simultaneous abstract and concrete variables.
