Driffle serves in over 140 countries, extending its services to a diverse global. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success. Roles and Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance. • Manage all financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide strategic guidance to department heads on budget development and management. • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial health of the company, and make recommendations for improvements as needed. • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, financial institutions, and Investors to ensure compliance and support business objectives. • Oversees financial statement preparation in compliance with local company law and filing timelines. • Maintains a suitable internal control framework with a focus on identifying and managing financial risks along with appropriate governance. • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and plans to support business objectives and drive growth. • Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and other key business initiatives. • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements. Must have: • Strong core accounting knowledge and fundamentals. • Knowledge of business finance/FPA – Budgeting, forecasting, competition benchmarking, variance analysis, dashboard preparation. • Expert knowledge of financial practices, tax, and applicable legislation with strong grasp of IFRS reporting. • Working Knowledge on indirect taxation such as GST/TDS. • Working knowledge on tools such as Tally, Carta, Keka and SAP. • IND-AS, US GAAP or IFRS knowledge would be an added advantage. Added Advantage: • Being collaborative and assertive, able to proactively gather information from different departments. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Experience managing and developing a team of finance professionals is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, Power-point etc. • Effective Stakeholder Management both internal and external.
