Welcome to the relentless pursuit of better Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - GCP Platform Support EngineerIn this role, As a GCP Platform Support Engineer at Genpact, you will be a key member of the team responsible for maintaining and supporting our GCP environments. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of IAM, service accounts, and roles in GCP, ensuring the secure and efficient management of access and permissions within the platform.Key Responsibilities: IAM Configuration: Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) settings in GCP to ensure proper access controls and permissions for users and service accounts.Service Account Management: Administer service accounts in GCP, including creation, configuration, and maintenance, ensuring adherence to security best practices.Role Management: Define and manage roles within GCP, assigning appropriate permissions to users and service accounts based on business and security requirements.Access Control Policies: Implement and enforce access control policies to govern resource access across GCP projects and services.Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices related to IAM in GCP, conducting regular audits and assessments.Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities related to access issues, security incidents, or other IAM-related events.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to address support requirements and provide expertise on IAM-related matters.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM configurations, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional experience with a focus on GCP platform support, with specific expertise in IAM, service accounts, and roles.In-depth knowledge of IAM configurations, service account administration, and role management in GCP.Familiarity with GCP security best practices and compliance standards.Strong hands-on experience with GCP services and tools.Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
