Architectural Intern

As an architectural intern, you'll work closely with our experienced architects, gaining valuable hands-on experience and honing your skills in design, technical drawing, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Assistance: Collaborate with senior architects in the conceptualization and development of architectural projects. Utilize your creativity to generate initial sketches, 3D models, and renderings to visualize design concepts.
• Technical Drawings: Prepare and revise detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections, using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Project Research: Conduct research on zoning codes, building materials, and construction techniques to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Site Visits: Accompany senior architects to construction sites for inspections and surveys, ensuring alignment between design plans and on-site execution.
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD): Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software to create and edit architectural drawings effectively.
• 3D Modeling and Rendering: Utilize 3D modeling and rendering software to present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including structural engineers and interior designers, to integrate all aspects of the design seamlessly.
• Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet local building codes and regulations, assisting in the process of obtaining necessary permits.
• Documentation: Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
• Professional Development: Work towards obtaining your architectural license by accumulating supervised work hours and actively participating in professional development opportunities.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to present design ideas, updates, and revisions under the guidance of senior architects.
• Sustainability: Contribute to the integration of sustainable and environmentally friendly design principles into architectural projects.
• Model Building: Participate in physical model making for design presentations and project development.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a B.Arch degree (4th or 5th Year) or pursuing an M.Arch degree or equivalent in design-related field.
• Minimum 6 months internship required, extendable to 1 year upon request.
• Strong design, organizational, and communication skills.
