Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect (Data) with a strong background in Data Engineering in Cloud and Modern Data Platform technologies. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud data solutions, ensuring the integrity and scalability of our data platform, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that drive business value. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the data engineering and modern data platform space, incorporating relevant insights into the organization's data strategy. Requirements : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on modern data platforms and technologies. Strong knowledge of the cloud-based data platforms, their associated services and technologies in AWS framework Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes and real-time data processing systems. Hands-on experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud including KMS, Secret Manager, AWS CloudWatch, AWS IAM Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their associated services and technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, Databricks and Delta Lake. Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and ETL processes. Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Strong understanding of data security and privacy principles, including GDPR and CCPA. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively. Experience in providing solutioning in Modern Data Platform Engineering such as coming up Roadmap, Reference architecture, effort estimation and Project Implementation plan.
