We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Reporting Manager with a minimum of 8 years of proven expertise in financial reporting or audit within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monthly closing of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and conducting budget vs actual variance analysis. Additionally, the candidate will ensure compliance with Companies Act and accounting standards while possessing a strong understanding of Ind AS / IFRS.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct monthly closing of accounts and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Perform budget vs actual variance analysis and provide insightful reporting.
• Ensure annual financial statements comply with Companies Act and accounting standards.
• Conduct analytical reviews of financial statement numbers and reporting.
• Maintain real-time updates of books of accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Review tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
• Reconcile books with tax records and ensure accuracy.
• Possess working knowledge of tax legislations.
• Review various costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and build key internal relationships across multiple locations.
• Work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines during peak delivery times.
Requisite Skills
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum of 8 years of experience in Financial Reporting or Audit within the manufacturing industry.
• Thorough understanding of Ind AS / IFRS.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
