Job Description:
We're seeking a talented and experienced IoT Engineer to join our team. As an IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying IoT applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to implement innovative IoT solutions that address our clients’ needs and drive business outcomes.
What You'll Do at Energeia:
- Design and implement end-to-end IoT solutions leveraging IoT platforms.
- Develop device integrations, communication protocols, and data ingestion pipelines for IoT devices.
- Configure and customize dashboards, widgets, and rule engines to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate IoT applications with other systems and platforms.
- Perform device provisioning, authentication, and lifecycle management using APIs and tools.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of IoT applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Document technical specifications, design patterns, and implementation details for IoT projects.
- Stay updated on emerging IoT technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our IoT solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience developing IoT applications using IoT platforms or similar technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and device integration.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and IoT deployment architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
