The opportunity to work closely with Global Engagement leaders for consistency in management reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, etc. Provide outstanding contribution/support to consulting with engagement teams on all compliance and reporting activities. Your key responsibilities Supporting kick-off discussions, understanding of technical aspect of delivery, FTE analysis Analysis of Change impact assessment, and RACI Leading the statutory reporting engagement Collation & review of accounting information: data gather, GAAP bridging etc Reviewing of process documentation, and checklists Monitoring engagement economics Attending weekly calls, tracking and closure of open items etc Service delivery, client & escalation management People management Skills and attributes for success Hands on experience in any of the ERP (Business Central preferred) Experience in managing UK clients and their accounting process will be preferred Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Strong client and stakeholder management skills Self-motivated, aspirational, and result oriented. To qualify for the role, you must have Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) or Cost Accountant CWA/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 12 to 15 years of post-qualification work experience with IFRS experience In depth knowledge of IFRS is essential Candidates with proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, process management, month end close, account reconciliation and financial reporting processes Ideally, you’ll also have Exposure on International assignments on F&A Transitions, Auditing, Consulting, or other engagements is an added advantage for this role. What we look for End to end knowledge of accounting processes, accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP). Proficient in understanding of Statutory Reporting process, GAAP Bridging & Financial statement preparation. Experience in process gap analysis, transition and delivery management. Conducting basic statutory reporting review through IFRS/US GAAP checklists. Experience in working across geographies-EMEIA/AMERICAS/APAC etc. Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point Very good work organization, initiative and commitment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be motivated, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills What we offer EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
