Position Overview: We are looking for a hardware design and power electronics engineer who has extensive on hands experience in AC-DC, DC-DC converters, inverters, power supplies, LED drivers, Analog circuit design, and development. Also, should be aware of the complete product life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Experience in the Design of AC-DC, DC-DC converters, and analog circuits. Design & Simulation, process selection, BOM creation, Component selection, prototyping, verification, and validation of SMPS, and LED Drivers. Derating, Stress Analysis, Reliability, and Performance Testing. Highly skilled in testing products in certification bodies for RE, CE, RS, CS, ESD, EFT, Surge, Temperature cycling, Climatic Test, and certification process. Design Calculations and Schematic/Circuit Design, EMI/EMC Strong Knowledge in transformer design, MOSFETs, transistors, op-amps, snubber, feedback loops, control systems, compensation methods, etc. Should have practical on hands experience in bench-level testing as well as system-level testing. Should be able to Handle PCB, Mechanical, Sourcing, Assembly, and EMS activities. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide range of end-user issues. Knowledge of Microcontrollers, Communication protocols like UART, I2C, and NFC, and wireless communication like Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and Bluetooth. Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware engineering teams to successfully design, validate, and manufacture. Ability to handle various instruments like Thermal chambers, Oscilloscopes, Surge/EFT machines, Transformer winding machines, Hipot Testers, Digital loads, Pulse generators, etc. Should adhere to the process at all stages of product development. Good in test report preparations and other documentation. Maintenance of 5’s and safety requirements as per global standards. Key measures of success: Power and Analog circuit design, testing, and development. Performance testing, Reliability, and ageing testing. Mentor to juniors/freshers. Key Competencies: Completed ownership of products Responsible from design to development. Customer focused Process-driven approach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in EEE or ECE.
