Experience - 7+ Years Location - Hyderabad Notice - Immediate JD: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Security and Azure Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background, with a focus on application security, Azure cloud skills, and experience in risk assessment and threat modeling for applications processing sensitive data. Responsibilities: 1. Develop, maintain, and improve the security of applications, ensuring that they are protected from vulnerabilities and threats. 2. Implement and manage Azure security solutions, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection. 3. Collaborate with the development team to incorporate security best practices and principles into the software development lifecycle. 4. Challenge development partners, such as Accenture, to gain insights into their design principles and thought processes, and apply this knowledge to improve the security of our applications. 5. Obtain and maintain relevant certifications, such as (ISC)² and SANS, to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices. 6. Utilize tools like Vera Code, Synopsis, or CheckMarx to analyze and improve the security of the codebase, as demonstrated by Howden. 7. Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for critical applications, ensuring that sensitive data is protected and that potential vulnerabilities are identified and addressed. Requirements: 1. A strong software development background, with experience in application security. 2. In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud solutions, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection. 3. Experience with risk assessment and threat modeling for applications processing sensitive data. 4. Familiarity with security tools such as Vera Code, Synopsis, or CheckMarx. 5. (ISC)² and SANS certifications. 6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. 7.
