QA Automation Test - Hybris

JOB OVERVIEW

As a QA Automation Engineer on the SAP Hybris you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the automated test framework that drives the quality of our delivered products. You will partner with our development team members, architects, partners, and technical leadership to improve the quality and consistency of our solutions.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop automation roadmap and help initiate the right framework and maintain existing automation suite.

Empower the development teams to do create and execute their own automation with the right tools and strategies.

Work with Dev team to ensure teams are following the release process, and test automation standards.

Work hands-on with teams to diagnose issues and where needed directly develop, enhance, and execute test scripts to close identified gaps.

Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience

2 year of hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools and the creation and management of test automation frameworks.

1 year of programming experience using Java, .Net or other object-oriented frameworks, with experience in implementing and debugging client/server interactions and distributed system architectures.

Familiarity with test engineering tools such as JUnit, Selenium, Note JS, Unix Shell scripting, JMeter, JIRA, Charles Proxy, GIT, and SQL

Significant experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile, Iterative).

Strong organization skills with good interpersonal skills and a customer service attitude.

Strong understanding of web development.

Strong experience building consumer facing solutions

Strong experience building applications on the public cloud

Strong knowledge of scalability, security, and maintainability of high-volume Internet applications
