Responsibilities: Lead timing and power characterization and modeling efforts for analog and I/O circuits using tools such as SiliconSmart or Liberate. Generate and maintain .lib views for analog and I/O circuit blocks to support digital design flows. Develop and refine methodologies for accurate and efficient timing and power characterization. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices for timing and power modeling. Collaborate closely with design, verification, and digital implementation teams to ensure successful integration of models. Analyze circuit performance and provide recommendations for optimization to meet design specifications. Validate models against silicon measurements and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Interface with process technology teams to understand and incorporate process variations into models. Document characterization methodologies, results, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry advancements in timing and power characterization methodologies and tools. Requirements: Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience in timing and power characterization and modeling for analog and I/O circuits. Proficiency in using tools such as SiliconSmart or Liberate for generating .lib views. Strong understanding of analog and I/O circuit design principles and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Perl for automation tasks is a plus. Prior experience in semiconductor industry and familiarity with process technology is preferred.
