About the Role

We are searching for a passionate and results-oriented Senior Counsellor to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving student enrolment at AVGCI Multimedia Academy. You will be responsible for proactively contacting and nurturing leads generated through various channels, primarily focusing on calls. Your exceptional communication and counselling skills will be instrumental in guiding prospective students towards the program that best suits their career aspirations and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel in the multimedia industry.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate outbound calls to qualified leads generated through various marketing initiatives.
• Build rapport with prospective students, understand their academic background, career goals, and interests.
• Provide comprehensive information about AVGCI Multimedia Academy's programs, curriculum, faculty, and career placement opportunities.
• Address student inquiries, concerns, and objections with clear, concise, and persuasive communication.
• Effectively guide students through the enrolment process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospective students.
• Set and consistently achieve enrolment targets.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in the multimedia field to tailor counselling strategies and program recommendations.
• Collaborate effectively with the marketing and admissions teams to ensure a seamless student recruitment process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Communication, Marketing, Multimedia) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a telephonic sales or counselling role, preferably in the education sector.
• Proven track record of exceeding enrolment targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with prospective students.
• Strong understanding of the multimedia industry and its career opportunities (a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic.
