Responsibilities


  • Work closely with DBAs to gather information and create accurate and user-friendly documentation
  • Use clear, concise language to explain technical concepts and procedures
  • Make complex information accessible and usable to DBAs and other teams
  • Create and maintain database documentation for DMS teams, such as playbook, reference docs and users/admin guides including sample code, Diagram, Flowcharts etc
  • Analyze and document how systems, processes, procedures currently function and make updates to align with future development
  • Complete needs, impact and gap analysis on operational processes and procedures
  • Create illustrations for technical and process documentation using illustration tools such as Visio
  • Define a strategy for information gathering and planning for every new document or database update
  • Ensure documentation is stored centrally in Sharepoint and maintain the DMS Knowledge library


Mandatory Skills


  • 2-4 years of technical writing/ process documentation skills for both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Deep knowledge of relevant technologies, processes, systems, and capabilities ( SQL Server , Postgres , MongoDB, Oracle, AWS)
  • Experience using MS Office Tools, Sharepoint schemas and infrastructure, JIRA, Visio, Snagit, Service Now, Agile environment,
  • Good to have – Confluence, wiki documentation, ITIL process, Change Management, Project Estimations, Reporting tools like excel, dashboards,
