ABOUT THE ROLE:

● You will be responsible for providing effective support for corporate legal queries including drafting suitable replies to consumers, vendors, statutory agencies, etc.

● To provide legal advice, and transactional and business support to Spinny operations to ensure compliance, and efficiency in business and minimize/eliminate risk

● To ensure compliance with all applicable laws and Spinny policies, create efficiency in business, and minimize/eliminate risk.

● Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to discern risk tolerance and identify and lead risk management and compliance activities related to areas impacting the business, such as complex commercial contracts, labor, and employment, anti-corruption, Third Party Suppliers etc.


Contract Management

● Provide analysis, structuring, and documentation advice on transactions and managing risks in contracting within legal and corporate guidelines.

● Drafting and vetting of Software Licensing Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Banking and Finance, Insurance Agreements, NDAs’, Leases, Leave And License, Share Purchase And Share Subscription Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Undertakings, Indemnity bonds, and liaising with all relevant parts of the business in the process, etc.


Litigation Management

● Responsible for litigation management and developing strategy for favorable outcomes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external counsels.

● Retaining and liaising with external counsel, vetting of pleadings, and representing the company before the courts/quasi-judicial forums.

● Manage audits and follow-ups on existing legal cases and ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and reporting to business/region/global stakeholders

● Reviewing, updating, and recommending improvements to various corporate and regulatory practices for the organization.

● Monitoring the regulatory environment for changes in laws and regulations.

● Drafting and vetting of responses to legal or regulatory notices received by the company. • Represent the company before statutory authorities/regulators.

● Drafting representations and letters to Government departments and officials on laws and issues impacting the products and operations of the company.



REQUIREMENTS:

● Education Qualification – L.L.B from a reputed University

● 5+ years of post-qualification experience

● A thorough understanding of the following areas of law – Commercial, Labor, Industrial, Environment, Consumer, Fundraising, Due Diligence, Risk management, Contracts, IT, IPR, Privacy, Customs etc.

● Experience of working with legal teams of Startup companies

● Knowledge of sales and marketing related issues and understanding in handling trade promotions, customer activations, dealer promotions & schemes.
