Software Product Manager - Renewables Energy

The candidate will be part of the product management team and shall be primarily responsible for managing product management of renewable energy asset management and O&M software. The candidate shall also be responsible for the preparation of requirement documents, Jira user stories for product development team. The candidate will work directly with CEO, SME and customer’s asset management and O&M for requirement gathering. The candidate will also work with the analytics team, customer support and product engineering team for new possible approach for improvement of Apollo enterprise software for Centralized Monitoring System (CMS), Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Predictive Analytics.


Responsibilities

• Set up and administer best-in-class product management practices for software product.

• End to End delivery of product requirements in Atlassian tools like Confluence and Jira.

• Develop an understanding of customers’ business and technical pain points. Provide a business perspective on customer value by defining, designing, accepting, and adapting features and offerings. Drive the end-to-end feature delivery cycle.

• Build and integrate new features using customer feedback. Work with the Engineering team to successfully release features.

• Monitor trends in customer experience and specific customer needs in regions and identify product/marketing opportunities.

• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap. Proactively communicate these roadmap features to customers.

• Coordinate product release planning and development of components. Work across teams to deliver world-class solutions.

• Define success metrics and monitor them.

• Educate sales teams to properly position the functionalities of the product in the eyes of enterprise customers.

• Work with field sales teams to craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption.

• Work with different teams to ensure that product experience for different languages is uniform and seamless.

• Drive discussions and demos with key customer personnel as SME and sales team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years (PM) and 2+ years for (APM / BA) of software product management experience in the B2B SaaS product company (e.g., Power Factors LLC, AlsoEnergy, BaxEnergy, QOS Energy, DNVGL, etc.)

• Degree / Certificate in software product management is recommended.

• Experience in renewables/energy industry i.e., Solar Power, Wind Power, and Battery Energy Storage System

• Experience in analytics domain and applying the same to meet business requirements

• Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

• Strong user experience and design thinking

• Fluency in written and oral communication skills

• Experience in tools like Jira, Confluence and Figma
