Job Summary

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a world-class Lead Analyst – Oracle Finance & Costing based in Hyderabad, India and reporting to the Sr. Manager – Enterprise Systems (Finance & Costing) . In an industry that is reshaping the world’s energy future, there’s no better place to be.


As a Lead Analyst for Oracle Finance & Costing at our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering end-to-end IT finance solutions in collaboration with finance business process owners and department users. Your expertise in Oracle financial modules such as AP, AR, FA, GL, CM, AGIS, Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Enterprise Command Center dashboards will be instrumental in providing expert advice and support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical value-add consulting skills and industry best practices to optimize processes, solve problems, and expand functional capabilities for improved business performance.


You’ll be responsible for:

1. You will drive the implementation and support of Oracle EBS Finance modules:

  • Responsible for Oracle EBS financial modules support in a 24x5 environment, including on-call support.
  • Act as the trusted functional analyst for all project activities related to Oracle EBS Finance and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience in supporting and setting up tax structure, SLA & data integration with tax engines like Sabrix
  • Work with system technical developers (in-house/external) to ensure solution build.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for project issues, identify roadblocks, and communicate project status.
  • Single point of contact (SPOC) for escalated system issues, containment fixes, and permanent resolution

2. You will drive solution delivery and optimization:

  • Extrapolate business requirements (new/change/root cause fix) into end-to-end system capability needs.
  • Collaborate with other domain consultants for cross-process impact assessment and solutioning.
  • Ensure solution development quality and deployment test criteria agreed with stakeholders.
  • Work and liaise with customer stakeholders to drive adoption and solution performance measures.


3. You will drive collaboration and governance:

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, prepare for SOX controls, and review controls.
  • Collaborate with IT solution partners, vendors, and SaaS providers for timely delivery of best-fit solutions.
  • Understand proposed options to ensure proper governance, seamless data exchange, and information security with an integrated approach.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Hands-on experience in the areas of Oracle Finance GL, AR, AP, CM, FA, Cost Accounting, AGIS, and associated finance modules.
  • 7-9 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.X) Finance or similar platforms.
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end core finance business processes.
  • Strong understanding of system and data integration architecture of Oracle EBS R12.2.X.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, solution design, configurations, testing, post-production support, and documentation.
