We are looking for a Senior MDM QA engineer for the Enterprise Data Organization to help build and maintain MDM data products across multiple data domains that will support key data consolidation and governance initiatives. The candidate will require to possess strong technical, functional and collaborative skills to be successful in a multi-stakeholder environment.


Job Description:

Key SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding of MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices, preferably in PIM (Product Information management) solutions
  • Proficiency in QA principles, methodologies, and practices, including test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Good analytical skills to evaluate complex data scenarios, identify patterns, and detect anomalies in master data; Experience in working with Excel
  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform data checks
  • Strong documentation skills to create test plans, test cases, and test reports
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data quality, integrity, and MDM functionality
  • Own, manage and carry out Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Case Execution, Data Validation , Regression Testing, Defect Management, Reporting, Support UAT
  • Good knowledge of data governance concepts and how workflows are used within MDM tools for data updates, ensuring quality and integrity would be required
  • Ability to intuitively understand MDM requirements and build test case based on that
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of master data processes, systems, and configurations to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
  • Understanding of Critical Data Elements and its importance in Master Data Management
  • Ability to comprehend data models as it relates to master data entities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, present findings, and make recommendations


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Four-year degree in Information Systems, Finance / Mathematics, Computer Science or similar
  • 6 - 8 years of total IT Quality Assurance experience, preferably in data testing
  • 3-4 years of MDM project QA experience
  • 2 MDM project experiences


GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience of working in EBX is a plus
  • Advanced SQL experience and / OR Snowflake would be a plus
  • Experience in testing PIM solutions is highly desired
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
