What you’ll do at Ather:

Key member having direct accountability and/or co-managing one or more of the below projects

• Digital Transformation initiatives involving Finance
• Financial and Tax due-diligence with external auditors (Big4) and/or Investors/Lenders
• Venture debt fund raise
• Equity fund raise
• Mergers and/or acquisitions
• Financial Authority Matrix and Management Authority Matrix
• Any other Strategic projects from time to time at CFO desk

Key member managing all strategic (not business as usual workstreams) arising out of

• Order to cash (O2C)
• Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Record to report (R2R)
• Invest to Divest (Asset Management)
• Taxation - both Direct and Indirect
• Treasury management
• Banking Operations
• FP&A
• Business Finance
• Plant Finance
• Product Costing
• Internal Audit

• For the above, lead related management reporting and investor discussions and reporting
• Ensure publishing of financial statements (as per Ind AS) and cash flows with monthly/quarterly/yearly variance analysis, reporting vis a vis business plan - consolidated as well as for respective businesses
• Prepare technical memos for accounting positions adopted by the company in alignment with auditors and also vis a vis peers
• Ensure governance framework in place for quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Develop and document all F&A processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Lead ERP enhancement projects, automate operational and reporting routines and act as controller for group finance process designing and implementing systems
• Manage regulatory compliances covering Accounting, RBI, FEMA, ROC, Tax, etc.
• Interface with Corporate Secretarial and Legal team in compliance matters

Here’s what we are looking for:

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and team management skills
• In-depth experience of all finance processes; IndAS accounting
• Expertise in SAP various modules
• Experience in building scaling Finance teams, systems, processes
• Experience in handling accounts of listed entities and due-diligences
• Proficiency in MS Office, GSuite
• Ability to build successful relationship across stakeholders
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within strict timelines

You bring to Ather:

• Chartered Accountant with industry experience spanning Automotive, Retail, Ecommerce, Manufacturing, etc.
• Relevant work experience of 15-18 years (post qualification) with at least 5-8 years’ experience in Controllership function
• Experience working in/with Big4 company in audit/accounting domain is added advantage
