Job Overview:

As an IoT Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical architecture, development, implementation, and deployment of IoT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive innovation to create low latency, scalability, high availability, performant, robust, and scalable IoT architectures. Your role involves guiding the team through the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

What you will do:

Strategic Planning: Develop IoT strategies aligned with business objectives. Assess technical requirements and design solutions that meet scalability, security, and performance needs.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of IoT engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Manage resources effectively to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.

Architecture Design: Design and architect IoT solutions, considering device connectivity, data management, cloud infrastructure, security protocols, and interoperability.

Prototyping and Development: Oversee the development of IoT prototypes and proofs of concept. Drive the development process, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.

Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with emerging IoT technologies, tools, and platforms. Evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance IoT capabilities and efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (software developers, hardware engineers, data scientists, etc.) to integrate IoT solutions into existing systems and applications.

Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and compliance standards to protect IoT systems and data. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Testing and Deployment: Plan and execute rigorous testing procedures to validate

IoT solutions. Oversee deployment strategies and provide support during the deployment phase.

Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, user guides, and reports. Communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders.

Who you are:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Proven experience of 8-12 years in IoT development and implementation.

Proficiency in IoT protocols, such as Modbus, MQTT, CoAP, NAT, UPC, and HTTP/S.

Strong programming skills in languages like Java, and Python. Proficiency in C, and C++ is a plus.

Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angularjs, React js, etc is a plus.

Strong Experience with any one open-source IoT platform such as Thingsboard,

Open Remote, Node-Red, Kinoma, DSA, or Thinger. Additional experience with AWS

IoT and Azure IoT can be a plus but not mandatory.

Strong Experience in KAFKA, Redis, MQ, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Cassandra,

PostgreSQL is mandatory

Strong Experience in Data lake and ETL tools

Strong Experience in cross-compilation and Embedded Linux OS

Strong Knowledge of edge computing, sensor technologies, GSM, and wireless communication.

Understanding of cybersecurity principles in IoT.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

Certifications in IoT-related fields (e.g., Certified IoT Professional).

Experience with AI/ML integration in IoT solutions.

Familiarity with DevOps practices for IoT deployments.
